Energylinx is of the belief that the increases we have seen in this early part of 2008 are simply signs of times to come. The problem in the UK is that domestic consumers are continually told that they pay too much for their energy and that the energy companies are profiteering. The truth is that in the UK energy suppliers make for less from their customers than in almost any other country.
The issue though is that the relationship of energy costs to UK salary costs is increasing year on year and with some four million households now firmly classed as fuel poor, spending more than 10% of their income on energy it is not an easy pill to swallow that its not energy that is too expensive its that salaries, pensions and benefits are simply not keeping up.
However this is not the standard argument that you will read when an energy supplier increases its prices and until we start to recognise this we simply cannot sit around and be complacement.
NOW is the time to actively seek out the best energy supplier for your home, but before you do, do read this article on who is the cheapest energy supplier and use a 100% impartial energy price comparison service and do not be duped into believing that you have found a good deal if you are being told that we compare: out of the top six suppliers, of the main suppliers, of the licensed suppliers.
Where you see this forget them and only consider someone who is 100% impartial and lists every single energy tariff.
If you wish to use the 100% impartial, listing every single tariff, service offered by Energylinx click on any of these two links below to discover just who is the cheapest energy supplier in the UK for your home:
