How long will it take to transfer energy supplier?

  1. Using the Energylinx energy comparison will take only a few minutes to change energy suppliers on our website. Simply insert your postcode into the energy comparison and compare all of the suppliers and packages available in your area.
  2. Select the best option for you and complete your personal details (these pages are completely secure).
  3. Immediately on pressing confirm Energylinx shall send you an email confirming all the details of your transfer and information on what happens from here.
  4. Depending on the supplier you have a 'cooling off period' of between seven and 14 days, just in case you change your mind about wanting to transfer energy supplier.
  5. Your new supplier will contact you to confirm the date your new service will commence. This process usually takes between 28 and 45 days.
