Fixed Price 2012 from British Gas
Fixed Price 2012 from British Gas was launched on the 18th September 2008 as British Gas’ latest fixed price energy tariff.
With Fixed Price 2012 customers can fix their energy prices at the 30th July 2008 rates. These prices will be fixed until 31st January 2012. Gas is offered at a 7.4% and Electricity at a 7.4% premium, above the July 30th 2008 British Gas standard variable rates.
The key features of Fixed Price 2012 from British Gas are:
- A simple product giving customers peace of mind.
- British Gas will fix your energy prices and guarantee no more rises until 31st January 2012. (subject to regulatory and VAT changes).
- Limited numbers of this product are available.
- Available to prepayment meter customers.
- Payment method discount does not apply to Monthly Direct Debit customers.
- The product is portable at home move for credit customers only.
- Cancellation fee of £35 gas and £35 electricity for customers who switch from the tariff before 31st January 2012.
The tariff was withdrawn from sale to new customers on the 9th January 2009.
